Odessa is a city in the southwestern part of Ukraine. It is the administrative center of Odessa Oblast. Odessa was founded in the
1794 instead of the Turkish fortress on the coast of the Black Sea.
Total area of Odessa is 239 square kilometers. The city’s population
exceeds 1 million people. Odessa is divided into four districts. There are Suvorovskiy, Malinowskiy, Kievskiy, and Primorskiy.
The main architectural attractions of the city are the Theater Square, the Holy Assumption Cathedral, the House of Scientists, and others.
The Sculpture Park is the best place for walking or reading books. There are picturesque squares in Odessa, for example, City square and
Pale-Royal square.
